IBPS Recruitment 2024

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has issued an official notification regarding the recruitment of Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) under the Common Recruitment Process. Eligible candidates may submit their online applications for the 9,995 posts with the help of this article.

Name of Recruitment: Common Recruitment Process

Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation will be 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, 5 years for ST candidates and 10 years for PwD candidates. For more details, check the official notification.

Exam Centre (Assam): Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Jorhat, Silchar and Tezpur.

1. Office Assistants (Multipurpose)

No of Posts: 5585 Posts

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent.

Age Limit: The candidate should be between 18 and 28 years as of 1st June 2024. The candidate should be born between 2nd June 1996 and 1st June 2006 (both dates inclusive).

2. Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)

No of Posts: 3499 Posts

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent.

Age Limit: The candidate should be between 18 and 30 years as of 1st June 2024. The candidate should be born between 3rd June 1994 and 31st May 2006 (both dates inclusive).

3. Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager)

No of Posts: 496 Posts

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Age Limit: The candidate should be between 21 and 32 years as of 1st June 2024. The candidate should be born between 3rd June 1992 and 31st May 2003 (both dates inclusive).

4. Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Manager)

No of Posts: 286 Posts

Age Limit: The candidate should be between 21 and 32 years as of 1st June 2024. The candidate should be born between 3rd June 1992 and 31st May 2003 (both dates inclusive).

5. Officer Scale-III (Senior Manager)

No of Posts: 129 Posts

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as an Officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.

Age Limit: The candidate should be between 21 and 40 years as of 1st June 2024. The candidate should be born between 3rd June 1984 and 31st May 2003 (both dates inclusive).

Application Fee of IBPS Recruitment

Candidates have to pay the application fee to complete their online application process, the fee may vary according to the reservation category of the candidates. The complete details regarding the fee are given below.
